You are just their pack-mule to collect things, solve puzzles, and uncover the truth about the town. Really though, that’s just the bloke shouting about Jesus in Time Square. It turns out the town you’ve been sleeping near believes you to be “The monster,” an ugly and unpleasant being that will eat the young and lick their granny’s knees. Let’s call ’em Jeff, Jeff is a red blob with long legs, stuck in a cave. You play as… Well, in the short time I’ve had with the game, I’ve not noticed an actual name. Pikuniku is a small adventure game about a darker truth behind the bright and happy world you happen to live in. We saw it in what is available with Prime Gaming this month, even if Surf World Tour is only horrific for its hit-and-miss attempt at realism. So much so when it comes to October, I expect there to be a horror theme.
Even the more trivial nonsense America likes has now become important, at least somewhat, to the rest of the world. You see, America has too much influence on the rest of the world, hence why even in the darkest section of the planet there are three McDonalds, two Starbucks, and a version of The Simpsons.

This week’s free game on the Epic Games Store is Pikuniku, and surprisingly nothing else. Thursday, I went on about the corporate catfight between Apple and Epic not wanting a jury in their court case and Mike had a look at people who are angry that a man with the superpowers of a spider changed his face like he’s a homeless space wizard. Wednesday, I spoke about what is available with Prime Gaming for October, and Taylor talked about EA Play coming to Game Pass.
